A new commission. I haven’t done pen and ink in a while. It was fun. I think from now on, I’ll be doing ink on covers. Need to stretch those muscles!

WizardWorld Big Applecon

This weekend was another con. No trifecta though. No Boston con next weekend. Here are some of the sketches from the con this weekend. Unfortunately, I don’t own a camera (not enough people bought my art! ;) ), so I didn’t get all the sketches on film. But these were among my favorite. Namora, Batman (Grayson) vs Talon, Donna Troy Wonder Woman. On the Green Arrow piece, I unintentionally forgot the arrow!

Baltimore Comicon 2009

Unfortunately, business was pretty slow this yr. A definite sign of the economy as it seemed everyone I talked to at the show felt the pinch, which in a way is surprising because of the turnout. Nonetheless, a sketch from the con. (ok, maybe a little more than a sketch!)

At this point, these are designs I sent to the client based off what we discussed style wise. Still awaiting approval, so these might not even be used. But I had fun designing them anyway. The simplest one was not so much me, more a look I was trying to get based off of one of the styles we liked.
