Talk to the hand

I had a “happy accident” here, where I had previously built the UK flag, and was going to place it on his belt. Before I could reduce it’s size when I brought the flag into this illo, it covered the whole drawing. A couple of tweaks and a layer setting on “hard light” put underneath the lighting layers I had done on him, and voila!

Revisiting an old piece

I did this piece all the way back in '93, my sophomore yr of college. Pretty sure I just did this for fun. I've been picking away at re-doing it, and finally got the sketch done to blow up in the artograph to do the final at a larger size. (it's been picked at since about Nov. I think) I'll post the final when i'm done!

Justice League Unlimited #45 (2007)

This was one of my favorite jobs ever. I only WISH DC let me color this as well as pencil and ink it. Pg 9 was drawn in the hospital waiting room when I had to take a sick, pregnant friend in. What i won't do for friends and clients alike...!

I did color guides, hoping the colorist would follow them. Alas, they didn't really. Still, I was happy with the issue. Even sold the last page!
